H·B·L

To my family, and to the first readers who have stayed with this.

Here is the next set of letters, three through eight, carrying Lily and Ben into the middle of their year. I am sharing them with you before anyone else, because your reading is part of how they get made. The first two letters are here as well, so the set is whole from the beginning.

Read them whenever you would like, one at a time; each one opens on its own. When something moves you, or misses you, or could be better, tell me. You can leave a note right on a letter as you read it, or a general one at the foot of the page. Advice, a line that caught you, something you think I have missed, or simply that you enjoyed it: none of it is too small, and please do not hold back.

One thing to know before you write. This is a shared page. Everyone I have sent it to can read it, and the notes you leave are visible to all of them, so we are reading, and talking about it, together.

Thank you for being here for it. — Filipp
